Data Analyst – Advertising & AI‑enabled Analytics

About the role

As a Data Analyst you will turn campaign, bidding and audience data into actionable decisions. Working on a modern cloud data stack alongside internal AI systems, you will define key metrics, validate automated outputs and ensure trustworthy numbers reach stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Explore large campaign, bidding and audience datasets in Snowflake or Athena to surface trends, anomalies and optimization opportunities across political, healthcare and BFSI campaigns.
• Define and maintain KPI and semantic definitions for self‑serve and natural‑language analytics.
• Validate AI‑assisted output, catching errors in automated SQL, summaries or recommendations before they influence decisions.
• Develop dashboards and visualisations in Data Studio, Tableau or PowerBI to communicate findings to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Run ad‑hoc analyses, translate open‑ended business questions into rigorous studies and quantify impact of recommendations.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and data‑science teams to ship data‑driven optimisations and feed analyst pain points back into platform improvements.
• Handle sensitive political and healthcare data responsibly, complying with relevant regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related quantitative field.
• Strong statistical literacy – comfortable with distributions, cohorts, hypothesis testing and experiment results.
• Excellent communication skills, able to present complex findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented, curious and driven to find the real answer rather than the convenient one.

Required skills

• SQL (hands‑on experience with cloud warehouses – Snowflake, Athena preferred).
• Python (or R) for data manipulation and analysis (e.g., pandas).
• BI/visualisation tools – Data Studio, Tableau, PowerBI.
• Experience with cloud data stacks and modern analytics environments.
