Cybersecurity Defense Expert (AI Training)

About the role

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Defense Expert to evaluate and improve AI‑generated security content. In this fully remote, flexible contract you will use your hands‑on security experience to ensure AI provides accurate, safe guidance to organisations worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated threat analyses, remediation steps, security configurations and defensive strategies for technical accuracy and real‑world applicability.
• Identify dangerous errors, outdated practices, misconfigurations or misleading advice in AI outputs.
• Assess AI‑generated incident response plans, detection rules and hardening guides for production readiness.
• Design realistic cybersecurity scenarios and prompts to stress‑test AI capabilities.
• Provide structured feedback on completeness, safety and correctness of AI‑generated security guidance.
• Evaluate code snippets, scripts and tool configurations related to defensive security.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in one or more cybersecurity defence areas such as network security, endpoint protection, SIEM/SOC operations, incident response, vulnerability management, cloud security or identity and access management.
• Strong understanding of attack frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, kill‑chain) and defensive countermeasures.
• Ability to critically evaluate technical recommendations and spot errors that could cause real harm.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
• Industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, CySA+, GIAC) are a plus.
