Cyber Security Analyst – Remote/Hybrid (India)

About the role

DigitalXnode is seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Cyber Security Analyst to support a client in India. The role is focused on security operations, threat monitoring, alert investigation and incident response within a 24×7 SOC environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze and respond to security events and alerts using Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender.
• Investigate and triage incidents, assess impact and recommend remediation actions.
• Perform threat analysis, identify IOCs, suspicious activity and emerging threats.
• Analyze and respond to email security threats such as phishing, spoofing and malicious campaigns.
• Support incident response processes including containment, eradication and recovery.
• Conduct log analysis and correlate events from multiple tools.
• Participate in threat‑hunting activities and improve security processes.
• Maintain documentation, incident reports and operational runbooks.
• Provide 24×7 security operations support on a rotational shift basis.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in Security Operations, SOC or related cybersecurity roles.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Sentinel SIEM and Microsoft Defender XDR/Defender for Endpoint.
• Strong understanding of the cyber‑attack lifecycle, MITRE ATT&CK framework and current threat landscape.
• Experience with email security solutions and incident management.
