Country Security Manager – India

About the role

eBay is seeking a senior‑level Country Security Manager to lead physical security across all India locations. Based in Bengaluru, the role reports to the APAC Regional Manager, Global Physical Security and serves as the in‑country authority on risk management, crisis leadership and security program execution.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the India Physical Security strategy aligned with global objectives and local regulations.
• Act as principal security advisor to India leadership and drive program maturity, standardisation and scalability.
• Lead country‑wide risk assessments, threat analysis, and maintain a dynamic risk register and mitigation roadmap.
• Oversee crisis response, incident management and coordinate with global GSOC, crisis, investigations and executive protection teams.
• Develop and maintain post orders, SOPs, site security plans and conduct regular security audits.
• Manage security infrastructure including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection and alarm monitoring.
• Govern vendor relationships and guard force operations.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in physical security leadership, preferably within large, multi‑site organisations.
• Proven ability to advise senior business leaders on security risk and crisis matters.
• Strong understanding of Indian regulatory, geopolitical and operational environments.
