Corporate Lawyer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time remote Corporate Lawyer to join Orkbe, the world’s first competitive exam readiness platform. The lawyer will provide legal advice, ensure compliance, and support the company’s operations, contracts and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate a variety of contracts, policies and agreements.
• Manage corporate transactions and oversee legal aspects of business operations.
• Identify and advise on legal risks, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Represent Orkbe in legal proceedings and liaise with external counsel when needed.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement proper legal processes and develop internal legal policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B or equivalent); LL.M or additional corporate law certifications are a plus.
• Bar membership and eligibility to practice law in relevant jurisdictions.
• Strong knowledge of corporate law, compliance and governance.
• Proven experience drafting legal documents such as contracts, policies and agreements.
• Excellent research, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
