Copywriter & Social Media Manager – Geopolitics Media

About the role

We are looking for a creative copywriter and social media manager to shape the voice of The Global Voice, an independent geopolitics media house. Based in Goa, you will craft compelling copy and devise platform‑specific strategies that turn complex geopolitical topics into shareable content.

Key responsibilities

• Write engaging copy for Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter) and YouTube – captions, hooks, carousel scripts, reel scripts and comment strategies.
• Develop scripts and shot briefs for the video editor, ensuring each video starts with a clear hook.
• Design and execute a platform‑specific content strategy based on current trends and algorithmic insights.
• Apply social SEO techniques so content surfaces in Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn searches.
• Track daily performance metrics (growth, reach, saves, shares, watch time, CTR) and adjust tactics accordingly.
• Identify emerging trends quickly and adapt formats before they lose relevance.
• Manage community engagement through comment strategy, maintaining the brand’s voice in replies.

Required profile

• 1‑4 years of experience in copywriting and social media strategy, preferably in media or journalism.
• Demonstrable portfolio of posts, captions or threads with measurable results.
• Strong interest and knowledge of geopolitics, history and the Indian perspective.
• Ability to tailor tone and style for Instagram, LinkedIn and X.
• Understanding of social SEO beyond basic concepts.
