Consultant Physician – General Medicine

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Consultant Physician specialized in General Medicine to join our hospital team in Azamgarh. The role involves delivering high‑quality outpatient and inpatient care, managing a broad spectrum of medical conditions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Provide OPD and IPD consultations for patients with acute and chronic general medical conditions.
• Diagnose and treat illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, infections, respiratory disorders, and lifestyle‑related diseases.
• Handle medical emergencies promptly and initiate appropriate treatment protocols.
• Monitor admitted patients, adjust treatment plans, and ensure continuity of care.
• Coordinate with other specialists to deliver comprehensive, multidisciplinary patient management.
• Offer preventive health advice and lifestyle counselling.
• Maintain accurate patient records and complete clinical documentation in line with hospital standards.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, patient safety guidelines, and quality assurance measures.

Required profile

• MD or DNB in General Medicine.
• 0–5 years of post‑graduation experience; candidates with relevant experience will be preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a fast‑paced hospital environment.
• Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration.
