Consultant General Physician – Multi‑Speciality Hospital

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Consultant General Physician to join our multi‑speciality hospital in Nellore. The role involves independent management of outpatient, inpatient, ICU and emergency cases, delivering high‑quality medical care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct OPD consultations and manage IPD patients.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Manage critically ill patients in ICU and emergency settings.
• Interpret laboratory investigations, ECGs and X‑rays.
• Stabilize and manage medical emergencies.
• Coordinate with super‑specialists for multidisciplinary patient care.
• Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans and preventive health.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and discharge summaries.
• Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and quality standards.

Required profile

• MD or DNB in General Medicine with valid NMC/State Medical Council registration.
• Experienced candidates preferred; ability to work independently across OPD, IPD, ICU and emergency.
• Strong clinical decision‑making and patient‑centric approach.
• Professional, ethical and collaborative attitude.
