About the role
We are looking for a motivated Commis Chef to join the Western cuisine outlet at Grand Hyatt Goa. The successful candidate will help deliver consistent, high‑quality dishes while upholding Hyatt’s service standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and present Western menu items according to recipe specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and workstations.
- Support senior chefs in daily operations and ensure timely service.
- Assist with stock rotation, inventory checks, and proper food storage.
- Contribute to a courteous and professional service environment.
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Commis Chef or 2 years as an apprentice in a reputable hotel or restaurant.
- Basic culinary training with a focus on Western cuisine.
- Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations.
