About the role
You will join the kitchen team in a busy restaurant/hotel, supporting menu execution, maintaining quality and hygiene standards, and ensuring smooth daily operations during service.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare mise en place – cutting, chopping, marination, basic sauces and salads according to standard recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene at your workstation and follow FSSAI food‑safety norms.
- Store, label and rotate food using FIFO principles to avoid waste.
- Assist with plating and food presentation to meet restaurant standards.
- Help receive, organize and manage daily supplies and inventory.
Required profile
- 1–3 years of experience in hotel, fine‑dine or high‑volume restaurant kitchens (Bangalore experience preferred).
- Good knowledge of sauces, grills, pasta, salads and international plating.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment and flexible with shifts, weekends and festivals.
- Passionate about cooking, punctual, disciplined and maintains high personal and kitchen hygiene.
- Team player with a positive attitude and able to follow senior instructions.
