About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail‑oriented Commis 1 to join our dynamic kitchen team in Visakhapatnam. Working under the guidance of the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef, you will play a vital part in delivering high‑quality dining experiences for our guests.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare mise‑en‑place and assist in cooking a variety of dishes following standardized recipes.
- Execute food preparation tasks with precision, ensuring proper portion control and minimal waste.
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness and organization of your assigned station throughout service.
- Store and handle food items in compliance with HACCP and food safety standards.
- Assist in receiving, organizing, and storing kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
- Participate in continuous learning to enhance culinary knowledge and technical skills.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or equivalent; culinary certification preferred.
- Basic knife skills and fundamental food preparation techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and HACCP principles.
- Physical stamina to work in a fast‑paced kitchen for extended periods.
- Strong organizational, time‑management, and communication abilities.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and take constructive feedback.
