Collections Associate – Customer Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Collections Associate to join the Customer Operations team of Salary Finance, a fast‑growing FinTech venture. The role involves handling collections enquiries via email and live chat while providing empathetic support and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage frontline collections operations, handling customer accounts in arrears and repayment‑related enquiries.
• Respond to customer enquiries through Email and Live Chat, providing clear and empathetic support.
• Issue legal notices and collections documentation in line with regulatory and internal requirements.
• Maintain accurate customer account records, case notes and communications in internal systems.
• Support the preparation of collections reports, trackers and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex collections cases.

Required profile

• Previous experience in frontline collections operations, preferably in FinTech, banking or lending.
• Experience handling customers via Email and Live Chat and supporting vulnerable customers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Experience using CRM or case‑management systems.
• Basic to intermediate Excel skills.
