Cluster Collections Manager

About the role

PhonePe Limited is seeking a Cluster Collections Manager for its Agra hub. The role will lead a team of collection executives and coordinate with third‑party recovery agencies to ensure timely recovery of overdue payments across the assigned cluster.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and supervise a team of Collection Executives, providing guidance to meet daily and monthly targets.
• Drive the collections process for the assigned cluster, monitoring KPIs such as resolution rates and delinquency buckets.
• Own portfolio delinquency rates, implement strategies to control roll rates and reduce bucket‑wise delinquencies.
• Develop and execute data‑driven collections strategies tailored to the nature of overdue accounts.
• Ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures, internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct daily monitoring, prepare regular performance reports and present actionable insights to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing collections or recovery teams, preferably in a high‑volume payments or fintech environment.
• Strong leadership and people‑management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high‑performing team.
• Analytical mindset with the capability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
