Cloud and Serverless Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud & Serverless Engineer with at least five years of hands‑on experience to design, build, and scale modern serverless applications on AWS. The role focuses on leveraging Rust, Terraform, and event‑driven architectures to deliver high‑performance, scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain serverless services using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB and EventBridge.
• Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform to ensure reproducible environments.
• Integrate backend services with Next.js/React.js front‑ends.
• Optimize application performance and latency using caching tools such as Redis.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define event‑driven workflows and headless commerce architectures.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to automate deployments.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering.
• Strong expertise in AWS core services and serverless patterns.
• Proficient in Rust programming.
• Deep knowledge of Terraform for IaC.
• Experience with modern web frameworks (Next.js, React.js) and caching solutions.
• Nice‑to‑have: AWS Developer Associate certification, Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFRA, SCAPI, OCAPI) exposure, and headless commerce knowledge.
