Civil Manager – Precast Construction

About the role

Cemindia Projects Limited seeks an experienced Civil Manager to lead precast construction activities at its Dhamra, Odisha site. The role involves overseeing a precast yard, managing production, and ensuring safe, on‑time erection of precast elements across the project.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and run precast production yard operations, including casting, curing, demoulding and inventory control.
• Monitor production schedules, quality checks, testing and certification of precast components.
• Plan and supervise lifting, transportation and erection of precast members, coordinating crane operations and lifting plans.
• Coordinate with design, planning, procurement and execution teams to review drawings, erection sequences and construction methodologies.
• Manage contractors, subcontractors and site workforce, verify measurements, work completion and billing documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, conduct toolbox talks and maintain statutory safety records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
• 12–15 years of civil construction experience with significant exposure to precast projects.
• Proven experience managing precast yards and large‑scale erection activities.
• Certifications in Construction Management, Rigging & Lifting Operations or Project Management are a plus.
