Cashier – Full‑time, On‑site in New Delhi

About the role

The Cashier position is a full‑time, on‑site role at Hira Sweets outlets in New Delhi. You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling payments and supporting smooth store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Handle customer billing, process cash, card and digital payments accurately and issue receipts promptly.
• Greet customers, answer basic product and pricing queries, and coordinate with serving staff to ensure smooth order flow.
• Maintain an organized and secure cash counter, perform end‑of‑day cash reconciliation and report any discrepancies.
• Support basic store operations such as packaging items, restocking the counter and following hygiene and safety protocols.

Required profile

• Strong numerical accuracy and basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact politely with diverse customers.
• Customer‑service orientation with the ability to stay calm and helpful during busy periods.
• Reliability, integrity and attention to detail in managing cash.
• Willingness to work on‑site in New Delhi, including weekends, holidays and shift work.
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior retail or food‑service experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Ability to operate POS systems or billing software.
