Carpenter

About the role

The carpenter will construct, install, and repair wood‑based structures and fixtures across residential and commercial projects. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality workmanship while strictly following safety regulations and building codes.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and building plans to meet client specifications.
• Construct and install framing, drywall, doors, windows, cabinets, and other fixtures.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and related materials using hand and power tools.
• Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and building regulations.
• Collaborate with architects, electricians, and other construction professionals to optimise project flow.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on existing structures as required.
• Maintain tools and keep the work area clean and safe.
• Document progress and keep accurate records of materials and labor.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship or comparable practical experience.
• Certification in safety procedures and equipment operation.
• Proven experience as a carpenter with a portfolio of completed projects.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
