Cardiologist – Full-time

About the role

The Cardiologist will deliver comprehensive cardiac care to patients at IQ City Knowledge & Health Campus, covering outpatient consultations, inpatient management and emergency cardiac services. The position involves diagnostic evaluation, interpretation of cardiac investigations, treatment planning, and performing procedures in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, as well as teaching, research and patient education activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outpatient, inpatient and emergency cardiac care, ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective treatment.
• Perform and interpret cardiac investigations, including imaging and nuclear medicine studies.
• Plan and execute interventional and vascular procedures together with multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in teaching medical students and residents and contribute to clinical research.
• Maintain detailed medical records, adhere to institutional protocols and promote preventive cardiology.

Required profile

• MBBS with a postgraduate qualification in Cardiology (MD/DM or equivalent) and valid medical council registration.
• Proven experience in hospital‑based cardiology practice managing acute and chronic cardiac conditions.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills and a patient‑centred approach.
• Interest in teaching, mentoring, clinical audits and research activities.
• Willingness to work in an academic medical campus and support continuous quality improvement.
