Business Studies, Entrepreneurship & Economics Teacher (CBSE)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified and passionate teacher to deliver Business Studies, Entrepreneurship and Economics to CBSE students in Gurgaon. The role involves creating engaging lessons, fostering conceptual understanding, and preparing students for board and competitive examinations.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Business Studies, Entrepreneurship and Economics in line with CBSE curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, worksheets, question papers and study materials.
• Conduct interactive classroom sessions using modern teaching methodologies and digital tools.
• Assess student performance through tests, projects, presentations and internal assessments.
• Provide academic guidance, mentoring and preparation for CBSE board examinations.
• Maintain student records, attendance and academic reports.
• Organise business‑related activities, seminars, case studies, entrepreneurship events and commerce clubs.
• Participate in parent‑teacher meetings, staff meetings and school events.
• Stay updated with CBSE circulars, curriculum changes and best educational practices.

Required profile

• Master’s and/or Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics or Management (preferred).
• B.Ed. degree (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of CBSE curriculum and assessment patterns.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in CBSE schools (preferred).
