Business Development Manager – US Mid-Market

About the role
HCLTech is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new‑logo acquisition and expansion across U.S. Mid‑Market accounts. You will own pipeline generation, lead C‑suite conversations and position HCLTech as a trusted transformation partner.
Key responsibilities
- Generate net‑new pipeline and close revenue for assigned U.S. Mid‑Market accounts.
- Shape early‑stage demand and move conversations beyond cost to business outcomes.
- Identify whitespace opportunities across Infrastructure, Applications, Engineering and digital‑led offerings.
- Design and execute territory‑specific go‑to‑market plays and multi‑year growth plans.
- Lead C‑suite and Board‑level discussions on modernization, cloud transformation and enterprise resilience.
- Coordinate internal solution leaders, delivery teams and leadership sponsors to deliver differentiated proposals.
- Co‑sell with partners (ISVs, GSIs, AWS, Azure, GCP) to accelerate demand and increase deal size.
- Maintain pipeline hygiene, forecast accuracy and data‑driven decision‑making.
Required profile
- Growth‑mindset self‑starter with resilience to build business in new markets.
- Strong analytical and consultative selling orientation, passionate about digital and cloud‑led transformation.
- 5+ years of enterprise or mid‑market technology services sales experience.
- Deep understanding of Infrastructure, Application and Engineering services and their impact on client outcomes.
- Proven ability to lead complex, multi‑stakeholder pursuits across distributed teams.
- Executive presence and credibility to influence CIOs, technology heads and senior business leaders.
