Business Development Manager – LPA Online Merchants

About the role

Amazon is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead strategic partnerships for Amazon Pay with external online merchants in India. Based in Bangalore, you will act as the ambassador for the merchant ecosystem, driving onboarding, negotiations, and joint business planning.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships with the largest online merchants in India and negotiate onboarding of key merchants.
• Collaborate with internal teams (EUC, finance, marketing, rewards) to align goals for Amazon Pay.
• Lead top‑to‑top workshops to define and execute annual/quarterly joint business plans.
• Identify and drive monetisation opportunities such as Reward Ads with merchants.
• Define and improve processes, working closely with Program Managers and cross‑functional teams in an agile environment.
• Support Payments Finance with data, KPI dashboards, reporting, and operational analytics.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and relationship‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with senior stakeholders.
• Self‑starter comfortable with ambiguity and fast‑paced change.
• Attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate, timely results.
