Branch Manager – Gold Loans

About the role

The Branch Manager – Gold Loans will lead a branch’s gold loan portfolio, ensuring business growth, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance. Reporting to the Area Head/Regional Manager, you will oversee a team of valuation managers and officers while delivering superior customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve branch‑level gold loan targets and profitability objectives.
• Drive customer acquisition, retention, and portfolio growth through local marketing and relationship building.
• Oversee day‑to‑day branch operations, loan processing, disbursement, renewals and closures.
• Ensure accurate appraisal and valuation of pledged gold and monitor portfolio quality.
• Lead, coach and evaluate branch staff, including valuation teams.
• Maintain strict compliance with RBI guidelines, company policies and audit requirements.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve escalations promptly.

Required profile

• Graduate in any discipline; MBA or post‑graduate qualification preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in gold loans, banking, NBFC or financial services.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience managing branch operations and teams.
• Strong understanding of gold loan appraisal, collections and compliance processes.
