Branch Credit Manager

About the role

The Branch Credit Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and overseeing the credit department’s activities within an assigned territory. This role ensures efficient EMI recovery, compliance with bank guidelines, and drives the growth of the commercial vehicle financing business.

Key responsibilities

• Identify potential branch locations for commercial vehicle financing through market surveys and competition mapping.
• Expand distribution channels by pinpointing new avenues for commercial vehicle credit.
• Collaborate with the product head of business loans to deliver best‑in‑class funding solutions and align incentives for direct sales teams.
• Design a customer journey that enhances satisfaction and positions IDFC First as the preferred banking partner.
• Oversee agencies in the territory, ensuring adherence to internal compliance and regulatory frameworks.
• Manage the credit department’s operations to optimize EMI collection and meet bank objectives.

Required profile

• Graduate degree (Bachelors) required.
• MBA or PGDM preferred.
• 2‑5 years of relevant experience in collections or credit management.
