Branch Relationship Manager – Consumer Banking

About the role

The Branch Relationship Manager will drive volume and revenue growth by acquiring and engaging high‑net‑worth clients with assets under management of at least INR 1 million. The role focuses on delivering exceptional client service, cross‑selling DBS products, and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire and upgrade quality clients in the branch area to the Treasures segment.
• Deepen wallet share of existing customers through retention and AUM growth.
• Achieve monthly and annual volume and revenue targets.
• Promote activation of e‑Channels (Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, online mutual funds, debit cards) and grow Savings Book balances.
• Implement product strategies through effective relationship management and cross‑selling.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction by providing proactive service and coordinating with service, distribution, and product teams.
• Ensure strict adherence to DBS sales processes, AML/KYC, and other regulatory requirements.
• Develop client trust and loyalty through lifestyle and beyond‑banking propositions.

Required profile

• Proven ability to deliver volume and revenue performance through a need‑based approach.
• Strong client‑coverage mindset with focus on relationship building and cross‑selling.
• Commitment to high customer satisfaction and service standards.
• Awareness of internal and regulatory compliance requirements, including AML/KYC.
• Capability to work collaboratively with branch, city/cluster heads, and product specialists.
