About the role
The Bell Desk Host welcomes guests, assists with luggage, and provides information about hotel amenities and local attractions. This full‑time position ensures a smooth and pleasant arrival and departure experience for all visitors.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and escort guests to their rooms, opening doors and offering assistance.
- Explain room features, such as key usage, mini‑bar, safe, and laundry services.
- Transport luggage to and from guest rooms or designated bell areas.
- Assist guests with vehicle loading/unloading and provide directions.
- Arrange transportation (taxi, shuttle, limousine) and record requests.
- Communicate parking procedures and maintain awareness of security on the property.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and uphold confidentiality.
- Answer telephone calls with proper etiquette and support guests with disabilities.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lb unaided and up to 75 lb with assistance.
- Capability to stand, walk, or jog for extended periods and navigate stairs or ramps.
- Strong communication skills and a courteous, professional demeanor.
