About the role

Lex Favios is seeking a Banking Associate Lawyer to join its banking practice. The role involves providing legal support for corporate and retail banking transactions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and conducting due diligence.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake title search reports and legal audits for banks.
• Draft, review, and negotiate loan documentation and project financing documents for corporate and retail banking transactions.
• Conduct title searches and due diligence for secured lending and property‑backed transactions.
• Perform legal audits to ensure compliance with RBI regulations and other applicable frameworks.
• Advise on banking law, compliance, and risk‑mitigation strategies.
• Draft contracts, analyze regulations, and prepare various legal documents.

Required profile

• Prior experience working in a law firm, preferably within a banking practice.
• Familiarity with RBI regulations and banking compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with legal research tools and legal technologies.
