Backend Engineer (Python/Django)

About the role

Nat Habit is building a fresh personal‑care platform and needs a Backend Engineer to develop and maintain its core services. You will work on Python‑based applications, design APIs, and help scale the system on AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Python, Django and FastAPI.
• Build and document RESTful APIs for frontend integration and internal services.
• Manage relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL), creating efficient data models.
• Write unit tests, debug issues, and ensure application reliability.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines and containerize services with Docker.
• Deploy and monitor applications on AWS EC2, Lambda, or ECS.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimise both backend and frontend components.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Full‑stack Developer focusing on Python.
• Experience designing large‑scale systems that handle significant data volumes.
