Desktop Support Engineer – VIP & Event Support

About the role

Coforge is looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to deliver end‑user IT support, VIP assistance, and audio‑visual support for corporate events. The role involves servicing senior leadership, handling technical incidents, and ensuring smooth IT operations across offices and event venues.

Key responsibilities

• Provide dedicated IT support to VIP users (Directors, VPs, CXOs) and resolve hardware, software, network, and mobility issues quickly.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners and manage Windows OS, Office 365, Outlook, Teams and enterprise applications.
• Log, track and close incidents using ITSM tools, meet SLA commitments and prepare incident reports.
• Set up and troubleshoot audio‑visual equipment for large‑scale events, supporting platforms such as Teams, Zoom and WebEx.
• Maintain inventory of IT assets, track allocations, warranty status and ensure compliance with IT policies.

Required profile

• Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in desktop support, end‑user computing or VIP support.
• Strong customer‑centric approach, ability to work under pressure and handle critical issues independently.

Required skills

• Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365.
• Desktop troubleshooting and end‑user support.
• Ticketing tools (ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, Jira Service Management, ManageEngine).
• Active Directory, Outlook, Teams, VPN and basic networking concepts.
• Audio‑video conferencing equipment and platforms (Teams, Zoom, WebEx).
