Backend Application Developer

About the role

Appbay Technologies is looking for a Backend Application Developer to join our Jaipur team. You will design, build and maintain scalable backend services that power our web and mobile applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain backend components for web and mobile platforms.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate third‑party services.
• Optimize database queries, ensure data integrity and improve system performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and staging environments.
• Apply secure coding practices and write clean, well‑documented code.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of hands‑on backend development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Programming languages: Python, Java, Node.js, Ruby on Rails.
• Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis.
• API development: REST, GraphQL.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
• CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
• Containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Message queues: RabbitMQ, Kafka.
• Agile tools: JIRA.
