Junior Backend Developer

About the role

Appbay Technologies is looking for a Junior Backend Developer to join its growing team in Jaipur. The role offers the chance to work on scalable server‑side solutions for web and mobile applications while learning from experienced engineers in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and implement backend services.
• Write clean, efficient code in Python, Java or Node.js and develop RESTful APIs.
• Design, query and optimise databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Debug, troubleshoot and improve application performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
• Integrate third‑party tools and APIs into the system architecture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in backend development or software engineering.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one backend language: Python, Java or Node.js.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with version control using Git.
• Understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
