Back End Developer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Backend Developer to lead a team of enthusiastic engineers in building and maintaining high‑quality software applications that deliver superior customer experiences at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Guide team development efforts toward successful project delivery.
• Provide technical leadership through coaching and mentorship.
• Maintain high standards of software quality by establishing good practices and encouraging continuous improvement.
• Design, develop, and unit‑test applications according to established standards.
• Participate in peer‑reviews of solution designs and related code.
• Deliver solutions on‑time and on‑budget while adhering to high‑quality development principles.
• Provide third‑level support to business users.
• Research and evaluate a variety of software products.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or comparable experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one object‑oriented language such as Java.
• Experience with No‑SQL databases, caching data stores, queuing systems and search technologies.
• Version‑control expertise (SVN or Git).
• Strong fundamentals in object‑oriented design, data structures, algorithms and complexity analysis.
• Knowledge of design patterns and architecture for large‑scale applications.
• Hands‑on experience building scalable, high‑availability systems.
