AWS Administrator – Terraform Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced AWS Administrator with deep Terraform expertise to design, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with development and DevOps teams to deliver reliable, secure, and cost‑effective solutions on AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management using Terraform (modules, state, workspaces).
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines for repeatable deployments.
• Integrate Terraform deployments into CI/CD workflows (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security using CloudWatch, ELK and related tools.
• Implement backup, disaster‑recovery, high‑availability, and cost‑optimization strategies.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices, governance policies, and encryption standards.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues and provide guidance to cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with core AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch).
• Proven expertise in Terraform, including module development, state management, and workspaces.
• Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts.
• Linux/Unix system administration experience.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Good grasp of networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing).
• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (CloudWatch, ELK stack).
• Knowledge of security best practices (IAM roles, policies, encryption).
• Proficiency in Bash and Python scripting.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
