Aviation Safety Trainer – Hyderabad

About the role

The Aviation Safety Trainer will deliver comprehensive safety training to airport ground staff, ensuring compliance with DGCA and IATA standards. Based in Hyderabad, the role supports secure apron, terminal and cargo operations through systematic risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct safety trainings covering SMS, ramp, warehouse, workshop, emergency procedures and human factors.
• Instruct personnel on fire‑fighting, spill containment and evacuation specific to ramp, terminal and cargo areas.
• Design and update training modules to reflect new aviation regulations and industry trends.
• Perform random audits and competency evaluations to meet DGCA requirements and support airline/regulatory audits.
• Train staff on hazard identification, risk matrix usage and interpretation of safety performance indicators.
• Maintain accurate training records in line with company and regulatory policies.
• Support additional operational and safety initiatives as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Safety Manager with a Train‑the‑Trainer course, or 5 years operational experience in aviation.
• Background in aircraft maintenance, dispatch, load planning, ATCO, aerodrome operations or related fields.
• Supervisor level or above with at least five years implementing Safety Management Systems.
• Familiarity with DGCA CAR Section 1 Series C Part 1 requirements.
