Automotive Aftermarket Diagnostic Architect

About the role

Bosch Global Software Technologies is seeking an Automotive Aftermarket Diagnostic Architect to lead the design and implementation of advanced diagnostic data solutions for OEM vehicles. You will act as the technical authority, translating complex OEM specifications into reliable diagnostic features that support both virtual and real‑vehicle testing.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and analyse intricate OEM diagnostic specifications and convert them into actionable designs.
• Identify ambiguities in specifications and coordinate clarification with internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead architectural design of new diagnostic features and platform enhancements.
• Define best practices, standards, and design patterns for diagnostic data development.
• Debug complex issues using protocol analyzers, logging tools, and advanced debugging techniques.
• Conduct simulation testing with IDEs such as BDX or Grade‑X and perform vehicle‑level validation.
• Collaborate with validation teams to ensure comprehensive testing protocols.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in Automobile, Mechanical or related engineering discipline.
• Strong understanding of automotive diagnostic protocols and vehicle communication.
• Experience in designing diagnostic data architectures and conducting validation testing.
