Automation Test Engineer – Playwright / Power Apps

About the role

We are looking for an Automation Test Engineer to design, develop and maintain automated test scripts for Dynamics 365, middleware, Microsoft web applications and APIs. You will work with Playwright and Power Apps technologies to build robust, scalable automation frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API scenarios.
• Build and enhance Playwright (.NET/Node.js) automation frameworks.
• Execute test suites via Azure DevOps pipelines and integrate with CI/CD.
• Identify automation candidates, manage backlog and improve test stability.
• Collaborate with development and functional teams to increase testability and coverage.
• Maintain source code repositories, conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with standards.
• Generate execution reports, coverage metrics and trend analysis.
• Support AI‑assisted test generation and GitHub Copilot for Testing initiatives.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of experience in automation testing.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Good stakeholder communication and reporting abilities.
• Educational background: BE/BTech/BCA/BSc (IT), MCA, MBA (IT) or MSc (IT).

Required skills

• Playwright automation (both .NET and Node.js).
• Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines.
• Git and GitHub (including GitHub Copilot).
• EasyRepro (preferred) and Power Apps Test Studio (preferred).
• JavaScript / TypeScript, C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• API and UI automation, regression automation.
• CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Dynamics 365 CE/F&O automation.
• Accessibility automation and test framework development.
