Audit Senior – Pohnpei

About the role

EY is seeking an Audit Senior to join its team in Pohnpei. You will support clients in meeting reporting requirements, delivering high‑quality audit services, and providing insightful accounting advice.

Key responsibilities

• Implement planned audit procedures and programs for substantial sections of an audit.
• Plan engagement objectives and audit strategies that comply with professional standards and address risk.
• Perform detailed reviews of financial statements and regulatory schedules.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams such as IT Audit and Tax Specialists to ensure timely audit completion.
• Apply emerging accounting developments to client engagements.
• Maintain long‑term client relationships and identify business development opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (or foreign equivalent) with at least 3 years of experience, or a master’s degree with 2 years of experience.
• 2+ years recent audit experience with a public accounting firm.
• Experience planning and executing audits of internal controls over financial reporting.
• Experience planning, executing, and reporting on financial‑statement audits.
