Associate/Assistant Professor – Computer Science & Engineering

About the role

The Faculty of Engineering & Technology is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Associate/Assistant Professor in Computer Science & Engineering. The role involves delivering high‑quality teaching, advancing research, and contributing to academic leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials and labs to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Design, update and align curricula with industry standards and modern pedagogical techniques.
• Supervise final‑year projects, dissertations and doctoral research.
• Conduct original research, publish in peer‑reviewed journals and manage funded projects.
• Mentor junior faculty, participate in departmental planning and policy formulation.
• Serve on academic and administrative committees, support accreditation and quality‑assurance processes.
• Foster collaborations with industry, research institutions and community outreach initiatives.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent).
• Minimum 8 years of teaching and/or research experience at the Assistant Professor level.
• At least 10 high‑quality publications in refereed journals (Scopus‑indexed preferred).
• Academic Performance Indicator (API) score of 75 or higher as per UGC norms.
• Experience in curriculum design, accreditation (NAAC, NBA) and innovative pedagogy is desirable.
