Assistant Professor (Grade II) – Multiple Disciplines

About the role

Tribhuvan Sahkari University (TSU), an Institution of National Importance established in 2025, invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor (Grade II). The appointment may be made at any of TSU’s campuses, including Anand, Gandhinagar, Bhubaneswar, or Gadag. The role combines teaching, research, and community engagement across a range of disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate lectures and tutorials in the assigned discipline.
• Design and update curricula, course materials, and assessment methods.
• Conduct high‑quality research, publish in peer‑reviewed journals, and present at conferences.
• Supervise student projects, theses, and dissertations.
• Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, and outreach activities.

Required profile

• Ph.D. from a recognised Indian or international university (candidates awaiting award may apply).
• First‑class (minimum 60%) Master’s degree or equivalent with an excellent academic record.
• Demonstrated research capability through publications in reputable peer‑reviewed journals or authored books.
• Preference for candidates with JRF, SRF, or post‑Ph.D. teaching and research experience.

Required skills

• Subject‑matter expertise in one of the following areas: Finance, Accounting & Costing, IT & Systems, Marketing, OB‑HR, Social Sciences, Strategic Management, Production Operations & QT, Agribusiness Management, Economics.
• Ability to use academic management systems for course delivery and assessment.
