Associate Professor – Computer Science

About the role

The university seeks an experienced Associate Professor in Computer Science to lead teaching, research, and academic initiatives. The role involves delivering high‑quality instruction, advancing scholarly work, and contributing to departmental strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials and supervise projects for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
• Design and update curricula aligned with industry standards and modern pedagogical methods.
• Conduct original research, publish in peer‑reviewed journals and manage funded projects.
• Mentor junior faculty, guide Ph.D. scholars and participate in faculty development.
• Serve on academic and administrative committees, support accreditation and quality‑assurance processes.
• Foster collaborations with industry, research institutions and community partners.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks.
• Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience equivalent to Assistant Professor.
• At least 10 high‑quality publications in Scopus‑indexed journals.
• Academic Performance Indicator (API) score of 75 or higher as per UGC norms.
