Associate Customer Service Manager

About the role

The Associate Customer Service Manager will lead the daily operations of a rural branch, ensuring efficient service delivery and compliance with banking policies. This position is responsible for managing branch resources, overseeing customer lifecycle processes, and maintaining high standards of audit and service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day branch operations and administration while ensuring strict compliance with bank policies.
• Handle data entry tasks such as creating customer IDs, accounts, and processing application forms.
• Perform KYC verification, document checking, and loan document validation.
• Manage cash handling, clearing transactions, and maintain a good audit rating for the branch.
• Drive best‑in‑class service delivery for both external and internal customers.
• Partner with business units to implement critical operational and regulatory practices, including compliance, lending operations, and operational risk.
• Oversee quality initiatives, optimize processes, and improve turnaround times (TAT) and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Utilize automation and digitisation tools to increase process efficiency.

Required profile

• Graduation in any discipline (BA, BCom, BBA, BSc, BTech, BE, etc.).
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in banking or an allied business.
