Associate Analyst – Accounting & Reporting

About the role

As an Associate Analyst in Accounting & Reporting, you will ensure the integrity of financial reporting and month‑end closing while adhering to US GAAP standards. You will drive operational excellence through SOX compliance, process improvements, and high‑quality MIS to support management decisions. The role also involves mentoring a global team and building strong stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile balance‑sheet and bank accounts, following up on open items.
• Maintain accounting compliance with US GAAP, Indian GAAP and IFRS.
• Implement effective internal controls to achieve high accuracy.
• Execute intercompany transactions and perform cash application and netting for ICO customers/vendors.
• Post rule‑based journal entries accurately.
• Lead month‑end close activities in coordination with local teams.
• Resolve audit queries promptly.
• Collaborate with local teams to align processes and address issues.
• Manage assessment cycles for FI to PA module transitions.
• Perform accounting activities per defined SOPs and recommend SOP improvements.
• Ensure compliance with SOX guidelines.
• Participate in standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Respond quickly to local business queries.

Required profile

• B.Com or MBA qualification.
• Strong knowledge of Indian GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS.
• Proficiency with Google Suite.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP.
• Effective communication and people‑management abilities.
