About the role

Vivekananda Global University (VGU) in Jaipur is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Professor across several departments. The role involves delivering undergraduate and postgraduate lectures, supervising student projects, and contributing to the university’s research agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct theory and practical sessions for UG/PG programmes.
• Guide student projects, internships, and dissertations.
• Participate in curriculum development and academic committees.
• Carry out research and publish in peer‑reviewed journals.
• Mentor students and support their academic growth.
• Assist in accreditation, quality assurance, and laboratory/field management.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in the relevant discipline (preferred for all departments).
• Master’s degree in the relevant discipline where a Ph.D. is not mandatory.
• NET or other council‑approved qualifications as per regulatory requirements (UGC, AICTE, PCI, ICAR, NCAHP, etc.).
