Assistant Professor – French & German

About the role

Amity University Jharkhand is seeking an Assistant Professor to teach French and German language courses. The position is full‑time and on‑site, offering the chance to contribute to a vibrant academic community in Ranchi.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures and tutorials in French and German.
• Develop and update curriculum and teaching materials.
• Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and projects.
• Mentor students in academic and professional development.
• Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, and university events.
• Conduct research in relevant fields and publish scholarly articles.

Required profile

• Strong subject knowledge in French and/or German.
• Proficiency in curriculum development, academic planning, and student assessment.
• Master's degree in French or German (preferred).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
