Assistant Professor – Faculty Position

About the role

The university is seeking an Assistant Professor to join its academic team in Pune. The role involves delivering lectures, guiding research, and contributing to the overall academic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct lectures, practicals, and tutorials as per assigned workload.
• Assist senior faculty in curriculum development and examination duties.
• Prepare question papers and evaluate answer sheets.
• Organise seminars, workshops, FDPs, and study tours for student exposure.
• Engage in research activities, write and publish papers, and co‑investigate research proposals.
• Mentor students on projects, research papers, and career‑related skills.
• Participate in student welfare activities, admissions counseling, and campus events.

Required profile

• Preferably a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline; Master’s degree with at least 55% marks acceptable.
• NET, SET or SLET qualification preferred; candidates without a Ph.D. may be considered based on industry experience.
• 0–5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong commitment to the university’s vision and values.
• Exceptional verbal and non‑verbal communication skills.
