Assistant Professor – Engineering & Technology (Chennai)

About the role

FACE Prep is seeking an Assistant Professor to deliver high‑quality instruction to engineering and technology students in Chennai. The role focuses on preparing learners for tech‑industry placements through clear, industry‑relevant teaching.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and evaluate lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions for M.E/M.Tech programmes.
• Design and continuously update course materials, assessments, and project work aligned with placement outcomes.
• Mentor students on academic progress and career pathways, providing guidance for campus recruitment.
• Collaborate with faculty to refine curricula, contribute to bootcamps, workshops, and stay abreast of emerging technologies.
• Utilise classroom technology and online learning tools to enhance the learning experience.

Required profile

• Postgraduate degree (M.E or M.Tech) in a relevant engineering or technology discipline from a recognized institution.
• Strong subject‑matter expertise in core engineering or computer‑science areas with the ability to explain complex concepts.
• Demonstrated teaching, training, or mentoring experience at undergraduate or postgraduate level.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
• Interest in industry trends, campus placements, and skill development for software, IT services, and product companies.
