Assistant Manager - Marketplace Marketing

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Marketplace Marketing will own and drive the effectiveness of our marketplace presence. You will improve brand visibility, optimise catalogue performance and deliver data‑driven interventions that support retail growth and cost‑efficient marketing across digital platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Balance the sales mix of fresh, omni, exclusive and liquidation styles across all marketplaces, aligning assortments and promotions with channel strategy.
• Manage advertising execution, optimise targeting, bidding and content to maintain efficient campaign performance without overspend.
• Strengthen catalogue placement within platform‑specific price bands, improving product tagging, attributes and image quality to boost discovery and uplift DRR.
• Enhance brand visibility and ranking on Amazon and Flipkart by refining catalogue quality, exclusive styles and both organic and paid visibility levers.
• Publish a monthly market‑intelligence report covering category trends, pricing shifts, competition activity and platform movements, and share insights with cross‑functional teams.
• Control all marketplace‑related operating costs (excluding product cost) within planned thresholds, optimising marketing, logistics, returns and platform expenses.

Required profile

• Graduate or Post‑Graduate degree.
• 2‑6 years of experience in a similar marketplace marketing role.

Required skills

• Experience with Amazon and Flipkart marketplace platforms.
• Data‑driven decision making and market‑intelligence reporting.
• Advertising campaign management and optimisation.
