Assistant Manager - Marketing

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Marketing will drive marketplace marketing effectiveness, improving brand visibility and catalogue performance across digital platforms. You will own data‑driven initiatives that support retail growth, customer engagement and cost‑efficient marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a healthy sales mix across product types and align assortments and promotions to channel strategy.
• Improve advertising efficiency by managing campaign execution, targeting, bidding and content to maximise visibility while controlling spend.
• Enhance catalogue placement and visibility across price bands through optimal tagging, attributes and image quality.
• Boost brand ranking on key marketplaces such as Amazon and Flipkart by strengthening exclusive styles and refining content.
• Produce a monthly market‑intelligence report covering category trends, pricing shifts, competition activity and platform movements.
• Manage all marketplace‑related operating costs (excluding product cost) to stay within planned thresholds.

Required profile

• Graduate or post‑graduate degree.
• 2–6 years of experience in a similar marketplace or digital marketing role.
