About the role
Fabindia is seeking an Assistant Manager / Manager PMO to partner with the Head of Strategy & Planning and senior leaders on high‑impact, cross‑functional projects. You will drive initiatives from concept through execution, ensuring timely delivery and valuable learnings.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with function heads to manage end‑to‑end strategic and tactical projects, creating Gantt charts, conducting periodic reviews, and closing projects with comprehensive reports.
- Lead or support transformation projects such as efficiency improvements, OPEX optimization, and digital initiatives, coordinating across functions and removing bottlenecks.
- Track critical KPIs for various functions, generate insights, and report trends on a predefined schedule.
- Assist in the Governance Calendar by capturing actionable items, maintaining action trackers, and monitoring progress.
- Design new processes or enhance existing ones to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
- Support the Head of Strategy & Planning in finalizing KRAs and conducting periodic assessments for all HODs.
Required profile
- 0‑3 years of experience in the retail industry, preferably in consulting, business excellence, strategy & planning, business analysis, or FP&A.
- Graduate (Engineering/Commerce) or Post‑Graduate (PGPM/MBA) from premier institutes (IITs, IIMs, SRCC, LSR, SPJ, MDI, FMS, NMIMS, ISB, XLRI, IIFT).
- Strong analytical, data‑management, and communication skills.
Required skills
- Excellent process‑design capabilities.
- Advanced PowerPoint presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Working knowledge of MS Project or Primavera (a plus).
- Familiarity with ERP systems, Power BI, and Tableau (additional advantage).
