About the role

The Assistant Manager – Housekeeping will support the efficient operation of the housekeeping department at Park Hyatt Chennai, aligning daily activities with Hyatt International’s corporate strategies and brand standards. This role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences while meeting employee and owner expectations.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist the Housekeeping Manager in managing day‑to‑day departmental operations.
  • Supervise, coach and train housekeeping attendants and team leaders.
  • Ensure cleaning standards and service quality meet Hyatt brand expectations.
  • Monitor inventory of linen, amenities and cleaning supplies.
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments to support guest requests and special events.

Required profile

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a housekeeping supervisory or assistant manager role.
  • Excellent communication and customer‑relation skills.
