Area Sales Manager – Chandigarh

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead our sales operations for HDFC Assets in the Chandigarh region. The role focuses on driving revenue through partner channels, managing the portfolio P&L and building a high‑performing sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales of TPD products through a network of partners and channels.
• Engage and acquire new partners while maintaining strong relationships with existing ones.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline and ensure accurate forecasting.
• Oversee the overall P&L of the assigned portfolio, delivering target business output and product mix.
• Enable and support the sales force to achieve productivity and retention goals.
• Ensure renewal persistency and manage contract renewals.
• Identify, recruit, and develop a team of sales professionals for the channel.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales management, preferably in financial services or asset management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage partner relationships and acquire new channels.
• Strong understanding of P&L responsibilities and revenue targets.
• Leadership skills to build, coach and retain a sales team.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
